Will I receive any more information after I have made a booking?
Immediately after booking you will receive a confirmation email or letter. There will be a medical information form in this email/letter that we ask you to fill in and bring to day one registration.

Where do I drop off/pick up my child at an Academy?
Our staff will make it very clear where the registration point is at every venue. Drop off and pick up will be at this spot every day.

What should my child bring?
Your child is welcome to bring his or her own cricket equipment, however we will provide all necessary equipment. Please bring swimming kit and sun cream.

Will you provide lunch for my child?
Please provide your child with a packed lunch unless your child is attending the Bolton School Academy. Lunch will be provided on that Academy.

What should my child wear?
Each child should wear clothing appropriate for cricket. i.e. whites or tracksuits. Ideally every child should have 2 pairs of footwear, one for inside and one for outside.

Will you provide drinks and snacks?
Yes, however you are welcome to send your child with their own.

Where do you recruit your staff from?
Our staff are recruited from your local area. They all hold an ECB qualification and are highly skilled in coaching and dealing with children. A necessary number of our staff will also hold first aid and paediatric first aid qualifications.

Do your coaches receive in-house training?
Yes, all our coaches will have been on training days with us so they are fully prepared as to how each Academy should be run and what to do in the event of any situation.

Will my child use a hard cricket ball on the Academy?
This year we try and get more information about your child’s cricket ability and experience from the booking form. If your child is capable of using a hard cricket ball then they will do on the Academy.

If I want to know how my child is getting on at an Academy, what do I do?
We have a welfare officer on site at every camp at all times. Any parent can ring our office on 0800 345 7480 and they will then contact the welfare officer to see how a child is getting on. Our office will then report directly back to the parent.
